Dr. Marta Ortiz-Perez has always loved children.  She has put that love to work in her practice of Pediatric Dentistry.  Dr. Ortiz's  educational road began in the historic city of Boston where she got her dental degree from Boston University.  After graduation Dr. Ortiz attended Louisiana State University School of Dentistry to take her specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry.  After achieving her post doctoral certification Dr. Ortiz returned home to south Florida and began her practice at the Dental Center of Silver Lakes.  She is a former Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Florida and at Miami Children's Hospital where she was voted Attending of the Year in June 2000.  Dr. Ortiz has hospital privileges at Miami Children's Hospital and at Baptist Hospital.  She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.  Dr. Ortiz brings a love and special warmth to treating her "little patients" and it is clearly reciprocated.
