Doctor Cowan did his undergraduate studies at the University of Miami and the University of Florida. Following this, he graduated
from Case Western Reserve School of Dentistry. He then served in the US Army in Korea and was decorated with the distinguished
service award for establishing the Army's 1st multispecialty training program for Korean dentists. After completing his military
service, he established and supervised Florida's 1st rotating internship at the University of Florida School of Dentistry.
Soon after beginning private practice he founded the 1st Dental Specialty Center (of Hallandale). In 1994 he and Dr. Bockian opened The Dental Center of Silver Lakes. Presently, he is president of the The Dental Specialty Centers of Pembroke Pines and Dental Specialty Centers of Sunrise. He is the past president of the Society of Dental Specialties and is a member of the Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, East Coast Dental Society and Florida Dental Society.
He strongly committed to continuing education. In the past year he has completed programs in: CADCAM in Dentistry, Soft Tissue Lasers, Advances in Aesthetic Dentistry and Advance Training in Lumineer Treatment as well as many other courses.
Above all Dr. Marc Cowan loves dentistry and treating patients.
